We are happy to announce version 2.0.0 of our Mail.app plugin ComposeIT. We have designed a beautiful, flat style, new logo, we have upgraded to a full UI installer, and we have overhauled the preference pane UI. Installing will now be really easy, and you will find all settings gathered in one place. ComposeIT is now easier to install and easier to configure that ever. But no worries, we have preserved all the other greatness. Just install this over any previous version and enjoy the fresh, new look and feel. Get it directly fron the download page.
If you’re like us, working a lot with XML files which follow XML Schema definitions from 3rd parties, you will often have cursed people publishing libraries of XML Schema definitions. Most people decide to simply include everything that their schemas
<import> or otherwise reference in their package. Hence, now you have several copies of everything floating around your hard-drive. There is no one, true way of publishing XML Schema packages however, but there is one, true way how to use them: XML Catalog. (more…)
We are pleased to announce that we have just released a new software tool. If you ever needed to upload a bulk of new issues to a Bugzilla, and even make them block or depend on other bugs, then head over to our GitHub page to grab a fresh copy of bzimport.pl.

ComposeIT 1.5 for El Capitan is now available from the software page. Apologies for the delay in getting this update out. Apple have done a couple of changes under the hood and to Mail.app’s UI, to which we had to adapt. Thanks for bearing with us, and happy composing!
Sorry for taking so long this time round. Finally, we got around to updating ComposeIT for Mail 8.2 and OS X 10.10.3. To get the new ComposeIT version, as usual please head over to the software page (download link at bottom of page).
Apologies for the delay. We have finally managed to update, test, and release a new version of ComposeIT for OS X Yosemite (10.10.1). Since Apple already updated Yosemite to 10.10.1 while we were at it, we decided to go for that directly, and skip 10.10. If you need a version for 10.10, please don’t hesitate to contact us. To get the new ComposeIT version, please head over to the software page (download link at bottom of page).
The folks at Apple have been busy and have released OS X 10.9.4. While the top-level version of Mail.app has nominally remained at 7.3, it has received a new build number (interestingly “1878.6”). This has also required us to update ComposeIT to version 1.4.5. For more information, and for downloading the new version, please head over to the software page.
